Pogo’s are famous cruising / racing sailboats in Europe because of their performance oriented design.  Pogo is well known for the highly successful 6.5 mini Transat racer.  Spurred by the desire many sailors had to have an inexpensive fast small cruiser built with the same characteristics: speed and seaworthiness, long range, but also with a functional interior, the Pogo 8.50 was born, from which the Pogo 30 descends.

At a length of 30’ and beam of over 12’, the Pogo30 is more powerful than the Pogo 8.50, with its greater width, hard chines, and its forward hull volume. A truly powerful offshore racer, Eskorin is configured with a lifting keel making her a perfect choice for coastal racing as well.

With her light displacement and full sail area, she gets up on a smooth plane in no time – even in light airs scoring high on the fun factor scale.  And a large very well laid out cockpit is ideal for short handed sailing, yet she is a very comfortable boat with her clean and unusually spacious interior layout.

Eskorin carries a PHRF rating of 60, and scored third in the double handed division of the 2022 Pacific Cup. She is fitted with an extensive inventory of sails and an enviable set of offshore equipment and gear, and has a stringent maintenance record.

If you are interested in coastal and offshore racing, Eskorin is an outstanding platform for small crew - but seriously high powered racing.  Now is the perfect time to make the investment, with several months of inshore racing available before the big offshore races coming up in mid-summer 2025.
