The Andrews 43 is an iconic offshore thoroughbred designed By Alan Andrews and built at Dencho Marine. A well designed all round performer she is highly capable both on and off the wind. And notably, has fared well across the evolution of rating systems; from IMS though to ORR. She carries 2022 ORR and 2024 PHRF cert's. Kahoots has been impeccably maintained, and under hew current ownership has seen a major refit in 2021 with a new engine, and complete refit of all deck hardware and surfacing. Additionally her rudder and keel were removed, inspected, and re-installed as part of the retrofit - ready to race in the 2022 and 2024 Ocean Series and Pacific Cup.
Additional refits/upgrades in 2021 included rebuild of the spreaders, chainplates, forestay and backstay attachments removed, polished and reinstalled, along with new mast electronics & displays. Further upgrades from 2021 to present include all new AGM battery system, new autopilot computer and Zeus controllers, and new backstay. This is an outstanding opportunity to acquire a terrific platform for offshore racing.
